In February 2026, commerce employees receive salaries that include basic pay, non-remunerative sums, and in some cases, an extra bonus.

Employment in the Commercial Sector

As of February 2026, the employment in the commercial sector enters with already defined liquidations by the current collective bargaining agreement. The salary of each worker is made up of the basic salary of their category, non-remunerative fixed amounts, and additional amounts provided in the Collective Labor Agreement 130/75. Concurrently, some commerce employees working in supermarkets receive an extra economic boost, resulting from specific agreements with the sector’s chains.

Which Commerce Employees Earn the Highest Salaries

Within the scale of the agreement, the highest salaries correspond to category D salespeople and category F administrators, who receive a minimum of $1,218,519. On the other hand, supermarket workers subject to special agreements can reach $1,388,519, thanks to an additional bonus of $170,000.

Structure of Monthly Payment

The February salary consists of different items:

– Basic salary: according to the worker’s category, as per the current scale.
– Non-remunerative fixed sums: $100,000 monthly, divided into $40,000 and $60,000, in force until March 2026.
– Agreement supplements: seniority, presenteeism, cash handling, and overtime, calculated on the basic salary.

According to the agreement between FAECyS and the business chambers, these amounts will cease to be liquidated as fixed sums and will be incorporated into the basic salary from April 2026.

Current Salary Scale by Category

FAECyS released the minimum salaries for employees registered under the CCT 130/75. These amounts represent the salary floors, but companies can pay higher figures.

Why February Reflects the Agreements of December

The current salary structure originates from the collective bargaining agreement closed on December 5, 2025, which received official approval on the 18th of the same month. Among the most relevant aspects are:

– A 1% increase that completes the final stage of the previous understanding.
– The extension of the non-remunerative sum of $40,000, in force until March 2026.
– The addition of a new non-remunerative amount of $60,000, with the same application conditions.

Both sums will be incorporated into the basic salary from April 2026, unless a new agreement stipulates otherwise.

Important Details of the Agreement

– The fixed amounts cannot be absorbed or compensated with awards, gratuities, or other additional payments.
– FAECyS and the business chambers established a salary review stage for March 2026.
– The agreement covers all workers included in the CCT 130/75, with some specific exceptions.

In summary, the salary of each commerce employee in February 2026 is framed in a scheme already defined for the employment and work of the sector, with adjustments planned for the second quarter and new negotiations in the short term.
